Today was a Monday. Not a bad one, it was just a Monday. Currently, at work there is a plumbing issue, forcing me to walking about 1200 feet to a very near by office. While my timing needs some work, the overall walk was very enjoyable.

I came home to work on my capstone project for a data analysis certification, still stuck on how to clean a particular column. I thought I had finished last night, but before going to bed, while doing a second check, I noticed that the data would not correctly tell the story. I know it should be cleaned. I have cleaned similar data while working at a previous position. I know how to do it, but I found it very hard to believe that compared to the rest of the course, that the required steps are what they envisioned.

The only way I saw to clean it and get the proper data was to use upload it to a database first and then do some pretty complex (for the course) database queries – I think the course had a few lessons on SQLite.

After turning to the discussion forum for help, I saw a string of post advising that they knew of the data and provided a picture of the desired results.

You guessed it mine is just fine.

So overall on a 5 point scale, I would give today a 3.5 walks rating.

Tomorrow starts a new month and a new beginning and a different outlook. Should be fun. Stay tuned.
