A quick little certificate
Continuing down the data analyst path. I completed a course focused on using Microsoft Copilot in the data science role – Microsoft Copilot for Data Science. My enrollment in this Coursera course was a complete accident, I thought the subject was going to be more focused on data analyst duties. While it did cover some data analyst tasks, it was more directed to the data science role. A role that I find very interesting now, creating and training your own AI model – yes please.
I must say the course was pretty interesting. I did learn a lot about different generative AI models, Copilot and its capabilities. Again, I am very intrigued by the different AI generative models and how you can train your own – That just seems like a rabbit hole I can not afford timewise to go down at this point. It is well worth my time to learn how the corporate world, specifically information technology roles are looking to integrate AI moving forward.
Microsoft products will be integrated heavily with Copilot and I think I am ok with that feature. AI is just another tool to use to increase efficiency, especially in the daily mundane repetitive tasks. The use of AI in the workforce will be another separation skillset that many will need to be adding.
I will rank the course 2.75 out of 5 lecture videos, because while the content was good, the videos were often out of synch and many covered the same topics. Overall the knowledge that they pass on is 3 out of 5 AI chat topics.
